FarmVille was the first casual online game, originally released on facebook. Its gameplay was much more complex than the popular domestic contemporaries "Happy Farm", after all you were growing crops and managing an entire estate within a fairly large area of land. It's been more than a decade, and many games still suffer from the influence of FarmVille. Yet the series is still being updated, with developer Zynga announcing a new version of FarmVille 3 for iOS, Android and Mac on Thursday. Players can get their hands dirty and start the challenge from the home base, unlock new farm workers, learn about animal husbandry and control the weather. The new version contains more than 150 small animals, all of which can be domesticated and bred. Still the series' delightful character Mary takes on the role of tutorial narration. In addition to the usual chicken, cattle, planting crops, the new version of FarmVille3 added some strange things, such as you can raise grass mud horse (alpaca) or a large tiger in the farm. This tiger is used to protect the family, and still looks very cute.
