It is an action-packed strategy game that tasks players with defending their territory and towers and promises to provide hours of gameplay.The rules ofBloons TD 6are standard tower defense fare. WhereBloons TD 6mixes things up is through having dozens of towers, each with their own upgrade trees, and also some fun units to play with that don’t fit the standard tower defense archetype.You could call Bloons TD 6 ‘Tower Defense on steroids’. It feels like everything is happening, all at once and you have hundreds of characters to play with. It can feel a bit overwhelming initially, but the game does walk you through the early steps of each character’s special ability and if you’ve played any TD game before, you’ll jump straight in.You start with a limited number of monkeysyou can use to pop balloons and the early gameplay is to level up and unlocknew monkeyswhich have special abilities to pop the range of balloon types that are sent down the paths.Visually,Bloons TD 6mixes 3D monkey towers with 2D levels and bloons that come in.
